Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat (RAMSAR)

Shortly known as RAMSAR, the Convention was adopted in 1971, and Turkey became a State Party in 1994. While the Convention does not make direct references to invasive alien species, the Conference of the Parties make decisions on wetlands and invasive alien species.
