During the meeting, information was given on the process of management plans to be prepared and executed in the project pilot sites (Samandağ, İğneada, Ayvalık Islands and Marmara Islands) regarding the prevention, destruction, control and management of Marine IAS, and the results of the fieldwork carried out by Marine and IAS experts were evaluated.
The content of the species management plans to be prepared by the Nature Research Association (DAD) were discussed, and the contributions of MarIAS field experts were received.
